The first half of 2018 is all but over. One day feels long (especially when I’m working at an unfulfilling day job), but half an year goes by so fast. In terms of photography, it was another decent quarter. Although not my typical cityscapes at blue hour, I’m quite happy with Koh Samui (Thailand) photo. We stayed there for 4 days, but the only sunny day came on the day we joined the tour going to Ang Thong National Marine Park!
On the contrary, our trip to Shanghai was ill-fated, as the flight was delayed for 17 hours (eventually sent to a hotel to spend a night waiting) and the checked-in luggage didn’t fly with us (we got it back the next day by going back to the airport). The only consolation is that the photo (the last one) came out unexpectedly well, despite the cloudy and hazy weather.
In the next quarter, we have one short overseas holiday booked. Other than that, I’ll go back to some local shooting spots to improve upon my previous attempts. Happy shooting, everyone!
