Photo of the Month (November 2024)
“Photo of the Month” for November comes from my family’s first trip to Kaohsiung, Taiwan. To be honest, this isn’t a strong image, but since it was photographed during the trip, I’m sharing for a memory’s sake. 😅
Although it was sunny on this evening, Kaohsiung’s sky was always hazy, obscuring the skyline in the distance (I had to use “de-haze” tool in Photoshop quite a bit 😅). Besides, the skyline is in the East (the sun setting behind me shooting), which isn’t ideal, as the East sky won’t have beautiful twilight hues typically seen in the sun-setting side of the sky. Anyway, we have no control over where the sun sets, so just needed to make the best out of the given conditions. 😊

I think it’s a great image Joey, great view and composition!
Thanks! This is the only planned shot in Kaohsiung, so I’m happy that I’ve ticked the box. 😀
