Long Exposure Photography at Blue Hour by Joey J ๐Ÿ“ธ

What I am Doing Now (1 July 2022)

As my ongoing effort to “go smaller”, I’m also trying to offload photography accessories that I’m no longer using. I have several of such items like my previous tripod (Manfrotto 190CXPRO3 ), Manfrotto XPRO Aluminum 5-Section Monopod , Gorillapod Focus , B+W 77mm Circular Polarizer Filter , etc. These things served me well in the past (except the monopod, which was an impulse purchase and ended up not using at all ๐Ÿ˜‚), but no longer add value to my photography life today.

I’ve successfully sold a few of these items on a local classified website, but the other few still remain unsold although my asking price is super low. I don’t mind giving away for friends or colleagues, but I don’t know anyone local interested in photography, so the last resort will be donating. ๐Ÿ˜…

As a self-proclaimed minimalist, I feel discomfort holding onto things that I don’t use. Not only they take physical space, but weigh on me mentally as well. So, I just want to quickly get rid of them all and feel freer!

Thanks! Probably not yet. If I end up moving to Nikon mirrorless, I’ll still use it occasionally. ๐Ÿ˜…

Thatโ€™s good then and as long as you use it all! Iโ€™ve been using my Fuji so much Iโ€™m at the point again of thinking of selling stuff if it isnโ€™t used regularly ๐Ÿ˜…

Nowadays, mirrorless cameras are quite small, so a sub camera might not be needed if the concept is having a main camera, then a smaller one. The only reason for me to have PEN is for behind-the-scenes shots. Phone cameras aren’t still good enough for that. ๐Ÿ˜…
