What I am Doing Now (5 August 2022)

Recently I turned 49. I can’t believe the fact that I’m nearing 50. That said, I want to think that I haven’t reached the halfway of my life yet, as I have a strong desire to live beyond 100!

Personally I still feel like I’m in my late 20s. πŸ˜‚ In a good way, I’m always young at heart, but this also means that I probably haven’t matured much with age. πŸ˜…

For example, I didn’t want a promotion at work for a long time, as I was scared of the extra responsibilities and didn’t want to come out of my comfort zone.

So, it was only a few years ago that I moved up to a managerial position for the first time in life, but that was done out of fear of being retrenched, as it looked like my position back then was going to be outsourced. πŸ˜…

Anyway, the birthday is a reminder that life isn’t infinite, therefore we must live it intentionally.

Happy birthday again Joey! I think maybe 50 could be like 30, before I turned 30 I thought it was this old scary age but the closer you get to it the more you realize it isn’t that old and you still feel young!

I think having a young mentality can help you keep looking young too, at least I hope so anyways πŸ˜‚

Thanks! πŸ˜… I want to live long, but don’t want to age. 🀣 At my age, I still feel young, but not sure how I’ll feel at 60, as it’s the age considered a senior citizen. Anyway, I’ll need to get there first!
