Photo of the Month (June 2024)

Photographed on 10 June 2024 at Louis Vuitton Island Store on Bayfront Avenue (Singapore). EXIF: 18mm, f/9, 162 secs, ISO 100.

Hi there, here I’m bringing back “Photo of the Month” post! Not very confident that I can post every month, though, because it’s not easy to shoot a photo that meets my standards every single month. 😅 So, for those months with no worthy photo to share, I’ll either skip or just post my life updates.

On Tumblr, I post photos weekly (including many cats photos 🐈) and you can actually see them directly on this website (on Posts by Tumblr Feed page). While those photos don’t stay there forever (because the feed shows only the latest 30 photos and weekly updated), “Photo of the Month” posts will remain accessible all the time. So, I don’t want to post any half-decent photo here (call me a narcissist 😅).

By the way, this photo was shot on the floating platform just behind Louis Vuitton Island Store on Bayfront Avenue (Singapore). The floating platform is visibly shaking on windy days, which isn’t suitable for long exposure at all, and my previous attempts on two separate days resulted in blurry photos. On this very day, the wind was calm enough to keep the platform stable for 162 seconds. 😀

NEVER MISS A POST

Love the photo Joey, even with the shake it still turned out great and good to see the monthly posts are returning too!

Thanks! I initially planned to merge photos (slow shutter speed for water/sky and fast one for buildings), but eventually didn’t have to. 😅
