Photographed on 24 October 2025 at Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade (Singapore). EXIF: 27mm, f/9, 160 secs, ISO 100.

The first photo was captured 4 minutes AFTER the end of dusk, which is rare for me, as I typically shoot between 10 and 5 minutes BEFORE the end of dusk for my blue hour photos. I actually took the same view a few minutes before dusk ended, but the sky was still rather bright at dusk, so I continued to shoot another long exposure and got this surreal looking shot.

As I mentioned, most of my blue hour photos are taken 10 to 5 minutes before the end of dusk, like the second photo, which was shot 6 minutes prior to the end of dusk. That’s because I usually prefer “a clean look” that’s not too dark or overly vibrant, but this time I’m glad I stayed behind a little longer than usual because it turned out surprisingly unique. 😊
