Long Exposure Photography at Blue Hour, a.k.a. “Last Lights” of the Day, by Joey J πŸ“Έ

Tulipmania at Gardens by the Bay (Singapore)

This is my rare flower photo taken inside Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore, which is also my favourite local spot to shoot long exposure photography at blue hour.

By the way, this photo was shot with Olympus PEN E-PL10 using M.Zuiko 45mm (f/1.8) lens. Whenever I shoot cityscapes at blue hour, I’m using my trusty Nikon Z 6II + Nikon 18-35mm (f/3.5-4.5) lens, but for everything else, I’m actually shooting with Olympus PEN and two prime lenses that I own, M.Zuiko 45mm (f/1.8) and M.Zuiko 17mm (f/1.8) , as these lenses create nice bokeh (blurry background) for a shot like this. πŸ˜€

In fact, if I don’t shoot long exposure photos at blue hour, Olympus PEN is all I need. πŸ˜… It’s small, light-weighted, affordable, and image quality is superb when photographed under the adequate light.
