“Photo of the Month” for July features two photos. The top one was taken in the CBD and the bottom one at Punggol Park (Singapore).
July had plenty of clear and sunny evenings, so I went out for blue hour photography on nine occasions! In the last POTM, I mentioned that I would ditch the CBD and explore other spots outside the city since the water in the CBD is often too choppy for reflections. Well… I still ended up visiting the CBD four times 😅 (the other five outings were in suburban areas).
The first photo was from a new angle I tried along the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade. The sky was perfect, though the water was rougher than I had hoped. 🥲 The second photo is from Punggol Park, one of my favorite suburban spots where the water is usually calm, since it’s a lake.
In August, I’ll keep exploring spots outside the CBD, but also head back to the CBD occasionally to check if the water has gotten any calmer, hoping to catch that perfect evening when the skyline meets a mirror-like bay. 🥺

Both images are great Joey! The new angle at MBS area looks good, I also really like the one from Punggol Park as it just makes it seem like such a calm and peaceful place.
Thanks, Daniel! The new angle is a bit odd to me, but I still want to retry to shoot with nicer reflections. 😅
