Photo of the Month (September 2024)

Photographed on September 3, 2024, at JR Tower Observatory T38 (Sapporo, Japan). EXIF: 30mm, f/8, 30 secs, ISO 100.

“Photo of the Month” for September comes from our trip to Sapporo, Japan. It’s not my first visit there (my last visit was about 25 years ago when I was still living in Japan), but it’s the first visit since photography became my passion in the late 2000s. 😀

Among cityscapes, a bird’s-eye view isn’t my favorite, but since Sapporo is an inland city and doesn’t have a waterfront cityscape spot, I went to the JR Tower Observatory T38 to shoot the city from 160 meters above the ground. It came out quite nicely, thanks to the good weather! ☀️

Haha, I didn’t remember anything much from my previous visits. 😅 Yes, new places give me new motivations!
